YOHAKU Memo Pad- Receipt

A receipt — but not as you've ever seen one. This is YOHAKU's take on the humble transaction slip: thin, translucent paper with a rough surface on the front and a smooth, almost glassine reverse. The artist had long wanted to make a receipt, but simply lining up letters didn't feel right — so a little design was added, the kind of quiet detail that makes it unmistakably YOHAKU. The result is a memo pad that feels like a found artifact from a beautiful, imaginary shop.

Use it for quick lists, fleeting notes, or small messages tucked into letters and journals. To make a carbon copy, slip a sheet of carbon paper between the receipt and the sheet beneath it. The translucent quality also makes it lovely layered over other papers in a collage.
