Ordered this on July 30th with 5-8 business day shipping. It's now August 18th and hasn't even arrived. I was also surprised to see that this shipped from the Netherlands. Customer service was very responsive, offering an $8 refund off of the $18 shipping, but ultimately I was pretty bummed that this did arrive in a timely manner as it was intended as a birthday gift for my spouse.

• Shipping Origin: We are based in Toronto! We use PostNL for international shipping, whose global hub system routes tracking info through the Netherlands, making it appear on tracking as originating from there.

• Timeline: Your order was placed July 30th and dispatched July 31st. The following days (Aug 1–3) were a Canadian holiday weekend with postal service closures, followed by unpredictable customs processing.

While third-party postal delays are beyond our control, we always want our customers to feel supported. Knowing this was a birthday gift, we issued an $8 partial shipping refund as a goodwill gesture.
